DJ Cobbs 2019 Jr....Personal Statement
- Hi my name is DJ Cobbs. Football has always been my favorite sport. I have been playing tackle football since I was 7 years old. I also run track for Ashburn Elite in Ashburn, Va and Stone Bridge High school. I participate in the 100m, 200m, 4 X100m and long Jump. I was the 2016 St. and Regional Champion in the long Jump, jumping 18'-7". In 2017, I placed second place in the nation in the Long Jump at the National AAU Youth Track and Field Championships. I qualified for the Jr. Olympics in all 4 events in 2016 and long jump in 2017. In addition, I was the Captain and MVP of my Freshman football team in 2017. I qualified for the Highs School St Championship in the long jump as a Sophomore in 2019.
- I love spending time with my family. I love when we go to Top Golf to see who can hit the farthest. I also like listening to all kinds of music. I always listen to music before every sports game, so I can get pumped up. I enjoy hanging out with my friends. We mostly play football and basketball together. Lastly, I am a strong Christian. I enjoy spending time at church with my family to learn more about God.
