Personal Statement
I have been playing soccer since I was four years old, and over the years it has shaped me into the person I have becomes. Throughout my life, I always pushed myself to become better and improve in different areas. Over the years, I played state ODP for two years with the state of Virginia. Other than ODP I have been at Braddock Road for 4 years. Besides my love and passion for soccer, I take much pride in my school work and helping others. I am hardworking, passionate, and love to be a leader. I am concentrated, motivated, and driven. Playing college soccer has been a dream of mine for many years, but also one of my goals. Everyday when I step onto the pitch, I am working to achieve my goals.
Soccer has taught me to be strong. When I get knocked down, because of soccer, I know I can get back up. Not only has this sport physically taught me to be strong, but mentally as well. I have learned to take criticism and push others to be the best in return that they would do the same for me. This beautiful sport has taught me time management skills, a second home, and given me some of the best friends and family. Without soccer, I would not be the individual I am today.
My passion for soccer is endless, but I also take pride in my school work. I have a 4.15 GPA and I love to work with kids. I spend a lot of time before school volunteering and working with kids, and I love helping others.
