Conner Chirillo '26 Recruiting Profile

My collegiate goals and aspirations involve a focus on academics while delivering on the court. I am excellent candidate for your team based on my character and skills that set me apart from other players. In three seasons I accumulated, as a starter, over 20 tournament first place gold metals and was awarded team overall Sharpshooter 2023, Best Scorer 2022 and Sportsmanship 2021. I also embraced the National Honors Society of High School Scholars.

My main goal, well outside of being there for family (including my teammates), is to excel in school. While I was mostly always on the honor role, I started focusing on honors and AP classes to support a strong academics foundation. As a student-athlete, I will maintain a high GPA while turning that off on the basketball court with 100% focus and basketball IQ. Some common denominators from my last four coaches is that I am coachable, always show up and put in the time and effort, and play as a strong teammate. I do not believe a true team can be successful with a focus on oneself, or just a few players. It takes a team/family to win. 

I also truly take pride myself on my ability to listen to feedback and learn from mistakes. I have all of my games recorded for the past three years and have taken time to watch those videos with the intention of learning. I also focus on improving physically and mentally and pushing myself beyond my limits.

Lastly, I am eager to contribute to the team's success with my ability to understand and play multiple positions. I am excited about the opportunity to join your team and thank you for your consideration.
