Solomon Backus '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Solomon, I am a 6'3 shot blocker/sharpshooter. My dream is to play collegiate basketball. I'm a hard worker, I've been playing basketball since i was 3 years old, and I play basketball at local parks/churches 2-3 times a week. I'm ready for any work necessary to compete. I take pride in my academics and I'm Honors/AP student. In my free time, I work out to get my durability better, I take time to get my school work done, and I help play Basketball with people from my local Youth Group. I haven't tested my Bench Press, Squat, or Vertical. But I will be able to in the coming months. My father was a high school basketball starter at Huntington High School, and he's taught me the fundamentals, and he has taken me to go see college, and NBA games to further my knowledge of the game. I'm willing to adapt my play style to further the chances of my team winning and I'll be ready for a hard fought season. I also want to acknowledge my teammate who's also on here Marc Brown II. He is a fantastic teammate and I highly recommend that you look at his profile and take a chance on him. He has some of the best court vision I've ever seen, and his basketball IQ is out of this world. He's a fantastic teammate and I love being able to play with him.

I was #78 in the state in steals per game
