Personal Statement

My collegiate goals are to play for a highly competitive golf program at a university with great academics that will help get me ready for my future career whether it's in golf or in another career path.  While my goal is to play golf after college, I realize that is a difficult task.  I am willing to work to meet my goals, but I am also wanting to be prepared for a career after golf at a top academic university.

I have always worked hard to meet my personal and team goals whether in the classroom, field, or on the course.  I have been fortunate to excel both in the classroom and in sports receiving recognition for both.  One of the things I love about golf is that there are no excuses.  When you play great it shows just as when you play poorly.  I always try to ensure that I am prepared to play my best at any tournament or match that I am going to play in.  I pride myself on being a good teammate  and always being coachable.   No matter the school, the coach can rest easy knowing that I will be taking care of my academics as well.   I look forward to working hard and being a team leader at whatever university I am fortunate enough to further my playing career.
