Personal Statement
I am a freshman and New American Scholar of the Class of 2026 at Barrett, the Honors College and W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University majoring in Business Data Analytics and Sports Business with a minor in Film and Media Production. I am passionate about playing golf, the golf industry, and the profession of sports management, data analytics and law. As a high performing student at Brownell Talbot College Preparatory School, the oldest and Niche rated 2021 and 2022 Best Private High School in the state of Nebraska founded in 1863, I strive to excel academically, athletically and as a servant leader. I am a three-year letter winner, Varsity Team Captain, Number 1 Golfer and selected as a 2021 and academic All-State Golfer for Nebraska. Additionally, I was selected as Academic All-State in Tennis, was the starting Defensive Back for our Football Team and Frontier Academic All-Conference Silver Award recipient.
I am a member of the National Honor Society. Additionally, I was selected and graduated as one of 40 students regionally to be a member of Creighton University Heider School of Business' Youth Leadership Omaha Class #27. I was appointed as one of 25 students in the State of Nebraska in January 2021 to be a member of Nebraska Governor Pete Ricketts Youth Advisory Council. During the 2021 Nebraska State Legislative Session, the bill I championed and presented LB 428 (Normalcy in juvenile justice institutions was passed and signed into law by the Governor on May 25, 2021.
I remain active in golf playing on the Nebraska Junior Golf Tour the summer of 2021, caddying and working on the golf maintenance team at the Omaha Country Club, site of the 2021 US Senior Open, served as a Practicum Intern at the Korn Ferry Tour Pinnacle Open Championship while also playing Varsity Tennis and qualifying for the State Championships and receivingr All-State honors.
I come from a legacy of D1 family members including my Grandfather, Father and Uncle at Villanova, U of Michigan and the US Air Force Academy. I seek to perform at a high level at as a student athlete as part of a quality academic and golf program.
