I’m looking to find a new group of athletes with qualities similar to myself. I want to be part a group of individuals passionate about the game, motivated by a constant challenge, and who are willing to make something bigger than the sum of our individual talents. I’m a driven individual which is clearly shown in my high academic standards, multi-sport athleticism, and service to communities through the National Honor Society, Boy Scouts, and National Youth Leadership Training. I have been recognized as a leader among my peers in Boy Scouts as a Senior Patrol Leader, in the National Honor Society through assignment to redraft our chapter by-laws, and as a team leader in all sports leading by example. My peers and coaches would say that I am even tempered with a positive attitude and exhibit a consistently high work ethic. Each of my coaches has commented on my analysis of the game whether it's playing to the strengths of our team or exploiting opportunities presented by opponents. Even though I play an insightful mental game, I also play a strong physical game. I attribute this to being a well rounded athlete from playing three different sports throughout the year. Academically, I’m a driven, multi-dimensional student. I enjoy being part of the Symphonic Band which meets prior to the start of school. As a trumpet player, I have played pieces from classical symphonies to modern jazz. I have maintained a challenging academic schedule including foreign language classes (with college credit extensions), Advanced Placement History, science and math classes. My math classes have always set me apart from the majority of my classmates. In eighth grade, I was selected to take Freshman Honors math (Geometry) at the High School. Since that time, I have been two years ahead of many of my classmates in math. As I Junior, I will complete Advanced Placement Calculus BC this year. I am also on a path to take multiple honors classes my senior year.
