Hey coaches, I appreciate you all taking time out of your busy schedules to give me a look, my name is Paul Dummitt ill. I have been playing football ever since I could practically walk, it's a way of life for me. I'm a winner, I'm the type of player to do whatever it takes to win, I am extremely excited about this process, and am I looking forward to the future ahead. whatever school I attend, they are receiving an extremely hard worker. my GPA is lower, I have faced a lot in the past 3 years of my life, starting with the beginning of my freshman year, I was dealing with the death of my grandfather, and shortly following that I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes, and towards the end of my sophomore year. covid hit and really hurt my GPA and just being on and off this year is a struggle but I'm working my butt off right now to make sure I get straight A's, I work hard but I understand my grades don't reflect that, I am also not using any of my life as an excuse but as a look into to my life and to show you all as coaches that I have faced a lot and that I don't plan on giving up. I'm a fighter, ill keep fighting, I want to turn my life around and create a bright future for myself. I'm also a winner, I will do whatever it takes to win, whether that means staying after with teammates and getting in extra work or doing film sessions at my house with the team, I am holding my self to a very high standard for my senior year this fall, I plan on taking some Ap and all honors classes and for the field, I'm continually working to have my teammates to buy into the thought that nothing is stopping us from winning states. I could care less about the individual awards, I'm a team-first player and I do not plan on changing.
