Patrick McNally '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Patrick McNally, I have played AA hockey most of my life with one season of Tier 1 AAA hockey to go along with that. Ever since I was a little kid I have wanted to play hockey for as long as I can which ultimately meant playing in college. I would like to major in some sort of marketing or business field as that interests me the most. I would also like to stay in or around the sports world if possible when searching for a job. 

I like to think of myself as one of the hardest workers on any team I have ever been a part of, I am always looking for ice time at any time during the year whether that is by practice or going to a local stick and shoot I am always looking to improve. I think of myself as a puck-moving defensemen with good decision making skills. I also think of myself as a grinding defensemen who fights through contact to make a play. These skills allow me to create opportunities for both myself and my teammates.

As a teammate, I am very vocal whether that be on the ice or on the bench. I look to motivate my teammates to push themselves to the limit for the benefit of the team. I am also vocal in the locker room before the game and after as this is a way to either look forward on the game ahead or reflect on good things or mistakes that happened in a previous game that my team can improve upon.
