Jean-Paul (JP) Fougerouse '25 Recruiting Profile

Don't be fooled by appearances. I have always been one of the smallest kids on the team however I now realize this was a blessing in disguise. In order to compete I had no choice but to learn technique from a very young age and I am now a highly technical player with great feet, incredible quickness, and vision. I have become the leader of my teams and am grateful every day for the opportunity to play a game I truly love.

My goal is to grow as a soccer player and as a student. I hope to contribute to a team as well as in the classroom. I have played soccer since I was 3 years old and have been part of travel teams and premier teams since I was 8. I now play at the high school level and with a Regional ECNL team. 

I am half American and half French so, while the jury is still out on which international team is my favorite, there is no question that I am passionate, driven, and incredibly hard working. Yes, I can compete with the biggest and best but, at the end of the day, I’m just a guy with a ball at his feet and a love of the game.
