Lawrence Mancino '24 Recruiting Profile

 I am currently a senior at Christian Brothers Academy in Lincroft, NJ. My position is defense (outside back, CDM, and center back) #22 for Cedar Stars Academy, Monmouth. 

I started playing soccer when I was three years old as I watched my two older sisters play. I hope to play at the collegiate level just like my older sister who is currently a D1 player.  

I know that the college soccer experience will keep me focused academically and I will be challenged in the classroom and on the pitch. I hope to find the right fit academically and at the highest level of competition possible in college. I am a team leader and try to lead by example while also encouraging my teammates. I am very coachable and will be one of the hardest working recruits.

As a center back, I am not afraid to speak up to notify my teammates of where to rotate as the game progresses. I am aware and am able to put my teammates in a better position before they get the ball. As left back, I eagerly go up on the outside to get a cross in for my teammates and help with getting forward. I am a left footed defender who will make an impact on the team.
