When I was six years old, I was introduced to the sport of lacrosse by my father. Being a high school all-state player himself, my father helped me fall in love with the sport. I began playing competitively at the age of 8, playing for the Shark River Lacrosse Club based out of Manasquan, NJ. I then started playing club lacrosse for Mad Dog Lacrosse at the age of ten, making lifelong friendships with kids who I now compete with at the high school level.
I would like to attend and play at a school that has a competitive lacrosse program, as well as a school with strong academics. I would also prefer a school that includes the option for me to continue my studies in the field of medicine/ dentistry.
I am an aggressive athlete, determined to become the best lacrosse player I can be. I am coachable and enjoy listening to what coaches have to say. I would consider myself a student of the game because I love to learn new things from my coaches or players of higher experience. I am constantly watching film of college and professional defensemen and trying to apply the things I've learned to my game. I exercise on a daily basis, by practicing lacrosse or by lifting with a trainer. I enjoy the challenge of a tough schedule and I hate to lose more than I like to win.
In the classroom, I am studious and hard-working. I am only satisfied with above-average grades and always put academics before athletics. I consistently make high honors and take multiple honors and AP courses.
I feel that with the confidence I have and with my love for the game of lacrosse, I would be able to contribute to a competitive team and compete at the next level if given the chance.
