Winning the sectional championship my junior year is the highlight of my high school career. However, I felt like I grew most as an athlete in my sophomore year when our team lost in the sectional championship. Losing the championship really helped me realize that there’s so much more to the game than just who’s the better team. Refocusing for the next year and really giving it my all over the summer and fall as well as pushing my teammates to put in the work as well helped our team win it the very next season. The failure, the hard work, then the results the very next year are the things I live for as an athlete.
I’m very fortunate to be apart of one of the best high school programs in my state. Over the years I learned the value of teamwork, commitment, sacrifice, and leadership. I'm looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as academically. I believe I not only have the talent to compete for a college team, but the mentality, work ethic, and leadership skills to make an immediate impact on your program.
