My name is Tanner Stockdill. I’m a Senior at Armstrong Jr. Sr. High school. I’ve been playing soccer since I was 4 years old and always have dreamed of one day being able to play college soccer. I want to further my education, while playing the sport I’ve grown to love and have learned so much from. Through my experience in soccer, I’ve learned how to become a leader. Being a leader isn’t just telling people what to do, it’s more than that to me. Being a leader is staying cool under pressure and setting an example for others to follow. A good leader helps everyone and does what’s best for his team rather then himself. Thanks to soccer, I’ve learned to become this type of leader, and have carried out the role of captain on my varsity team. I hope to attend college and become a leader for my team.
