My name is Sven Rasmussen, and I am a good choice for your swim team. I have been swimming ever since I was 4, and competitively since 4th grade. I have been selected for the Alaska Swimming Zone Team, and have gotten numerous awards at the state level. I have always been improving on my times, even through the pandemic. It is my goal to make myself the best I can be. My current gpa is a 4.0, and I am taking 3 honors classes and 1 AP class as a sophomore. Furthermore, even though I could have just turned my camera and mic off during zoom school and left my grades behind, I soldiered forth. In 2020, I got outstanding achievement awards in both math and science. I am in double advanced math, and math and science are my strong suits. As for my swimming career, I have been team captain for Glacier Swim Club, and have been nominated for team captain for my high school swim team, the Thunder Mountain Falcons. I got first in my region in the 100 breast as a freshman. Most of the high school season was canceled for my sophomore year, but I still practiced and improved my swimming ability. For college, I want to major in aerospace engineering. I always put my academics before my activities, swimming included. On top of all that, I am an avid skier and a Boy Scout, getting close to achieving my Eagle Scout.
