2023 HighlightsPersonal Statement
I am looking for a college or university that challenges me athletically, and academically. I am a good candidate for your swim team because I am a fast swimmer and a scholar with a strong work ethic. I get along with everyone at school and on my club swim team and varsity swim team. For both of my swim teams, I show up to practice early and I work hard on my technique, speed and endurance. I take constructive criticism well by incorporating my coaches' advice or constructive criticism into my practices and routine so that I can be a better, faster swimmer. I think this mindset sets me apart from other recruits, who may argue with their coaches or ignore their coaches’ advice. I learn from my mistakes and I always grow from it. This outstanding work-ethic does not stop outside of the pool. I also work incredibly hard inside the classroom. I am always pushing myself outside of my comfort zones, so that I can grow as a scholar and as an athlete. I am very disciplined with my swimming, workouts, diet/nutrition, and with my classes in school. I am also a leader, and a loyal team player and friend.
My collegiate goal is to find a college/university where I will push myself academically and athletically, and where I will be a part of a tight knit collegiate swim team family that will push me to be a better, stronger and faster swimmer.

- I received the prestigious Babcock Award (which honors the most outstanding performer of the New England Swimming Championship Meet. All of the high school coaches vote for this Award at the end of the meet). I was recognized with this Award after winning the Boys 200 IM and 100 Back; breaking the New England record in the 100 Back, and being a member of a 2nd place relay. I also broke 2 school records in the 200 IM and 100 Back.
