Aloha, my name is Greydan Takara. I am currently a sophomore at Hawaii Baptist Academy. I started swimming when I was 3 years old, and competitively swimming for Splash Aquatics, Makiki since I was 9 years old. I believe that hard work and consistency is the key to success in the pool and in the classroom. Swimming is my passion, it helps to train my mind to focus on a goal. I don't have a favorite stroke because I try to focus my attention on all the strokes equally. I was one of the 23 swimmers representing the state of Hawaii in the 2023 Western Zones Age Group Championships swim meet in Boise, Idaho. Being able to compete and participate in that swim meet has been the highlight of my swimming career so far. I would like to continue swimming through college and beyond that.
