I knew at a young age that I wanted to play soccer in college. Ever since I first started playing club soccer at the age of seven, I fell in love with the competitiveness of the game and giving my all on and off the field. I love being challenged and put in situations that require me to work hard with others to achieve personal and team goals; this is true both in the classroom and on the soccer field.
Since my dad is in the military, we move around about every three years. I have played soccer on both the east and west coasts of the U.S. and am familiar with the different styles of play on both coasts. I have been fortunate to experience coaching from a variety of different coaches who have challenged me to grow as a player in technique, character, and understanding of the game. While I have fun playing the game, I take soccer very seriously; always striving to do my best both in the game and at practice.
While I generally play outside midfield on either side of the field, because I have played on so many teams, I have had the opportunity to play and learn other positions. This has given me a unique perspective of the game on how all positions must work together to be successful.
During college, I am looking to be part of a team of like minded teammates who are of good character and give their all in all they do. I want to be challenged and continue to grow as a soccer player, student, and woman.
