Swimming competitively for 10 years gave me enough time to understand the sport. What I've learned is that hard work and dedication are required to push the limits. Swimming on my club and high school team gave me many benefits such as meeting new people and learning what it means to be a teammate. I love challenging myself in academics as well; taking honors and AP classes. My determined mindset and my work ethic are what push me to want to swim in college. I enjoy putting in the work, day in and day out and working with teammates to improve as a team which is what college swimming is all about.
