Personal Statement

I would like to thank you for taking the time to review my profile. My name is Cameron Schmidt. I am a freshman in high school. I enjoy playing many sports but track and field is by far my favorite. This year I was lucky enough to play varsity football for our team and we managed to make it to the 2A Colorado state playoffs. Also, this year I was a varsity wrestler and placed 5^th in 2A regionals.

Track is about ready to start, and I am looking forward to obtaining the many goals I have set for myself. I have no updated throws to show as we have not had a meet with the high school discus or shot. Last year in 8^th grade I had a throw of 118’ without a spin with the 1K discus. I also enjoy running and had a time in the 400meteres of 59.6 seconds. I am looking to use track and field to help me into a great college to accomplish my academic goals of being an engineer.
