Throughout my years of running, I have learned that you can be in the best physical shape of your life, but it is the mind that gets you across the finish line. The mind over muscle approach is what helps me to 'go beyond' my physical limits and give 110% every time I run. No matter what I do, my attitude is to do everything I can to be the best that I can be. I am always all in: with school, with running, playing ping-pong with my brothers, it doesn't matter. After running track/cross country while simultaneously playing soccer at the highest possible level, I decided to commit full time to running. I can say that it was an easy decision because now I can reach my full potential and see how far and fast I can go.
Academics are also of the utmost importance to me. I take pride in my grades and want to continue my pursuit of academic excellence in college. I will not settle for anything less than my best efforts in the classroom, just as I won't settle for anything less than my best on the track.
