Personal Statement

I love to run, and I love to compete.

I had been a competitive soccer and basketball player until my freshman year at Bishop England High School when I decided to give running a try.   Once I made the leap, I knew that running was my true athletic passion.  I have a close knit family who are all runners (3 brothers) and am and active member of St. Benedict Catholic Church here in Mt. Pleasant, SC.  I believe in giving back to my community and volunteer at my local nursing home, Meals on Wheels, as well as various fundraising events.

In summary, I am a hard worker,  I love to compete, and value giving back to my community.
