Tyler Schaafsma '21 Recruiting Profile

Basketball has always been a part of my DNA.  My father played at the college level as well as several of my cousins, aunts and uncles.  I've been playing basketball since 2nd grade and have had a lot of enjoyment competing at every level and have had several notable accomplishments.  To date, my favorite accomplishment was making the varsity basketball team at Bishop England High School and starting each game that season.  I've played every position in basketball and have been focusing my efforts on shooting guard to play at the collegiate level.

I look forward to the remainder of my high school career as we are set up for success with great coaching and good team chemistry.  I'm looking for a collegiate program that is also set up for success athletically and academically.  I believe I have the leadership qualities, athletic ability and academic ability to be successful at any program.  I look forward to finding the program that fits best for me.
