I have been competitively running and racing ever since I was a toddler, and this activity has helped me with other sports. Track has helped me become mentally strong. I enjoy the pain and dedication running requires. I want to be able to compete in track at the next level so I can continue to stay fit and become mentally stronger. Another aspect I love about track are the bonds that form with your teammates and relay groups. I love being able to have someone to push you and being able to challenge them. I know I could be a good candidate for your team because of my willingness to work diligently and strive to not only become a better runner, but become a better person and academic through sports.
