A little insight about me, I started playing volleyball rather late in life. I was 18 when I started noticing volleyball and when I started playing. I roughly have about a year and a half of volleyball experience but I am a fast learner and eager to learn more and play better. I currently reside in Texas which focuses mainly on women's volleyball over men's. But you would be surprised at my level of play considering how recently I started playing.
During games and practices, I would describe myself as a leader always positively encouraging my teammates to keep pushing and to strive to perform in any situation. Being positive always helps keep the team morale up and confident especially during intense close games. I know I have what it takes to be the team's backbone in enthusiasm and motivation throughout the volleyball season. I'm not asking to be the team captain but just another player who can make a positive impact on the other players.
My goal is to help lead a team to rank 1 during the season, whether its hours of practice, training, scrimmaging, and at the same time study to get my degree.
Recruiting a player who did not start playing at a young age is rare but all I ask is for an opportunity for me to improve and actually be apart of something greater than just myself. I might not be the best player on the team but you can believe I will be the hardest worker on the team.
