I have been playing softball since I was 6 years old, and it has been the foundation of my existence. I am now about to become a senior in high school, and I cannot imagine life without playing this sport at a competitive level. Softball has given as much back to me as I have invested in it: I have formed tight-knit bonds with my teammates and coaches, all of whom inspire and challenge me to work hard and to get better.
I am eager to compete at the next level, and I have every confidence in my ability to do so. I am a hard worker, a supportive teammate, a respectful player and a fast learner. All I need is a chance to prove what I can do.
