SPEED- Soft slap ...Personal Statement
After several years of playing competitive baseball, I made the switch to softball at the age of 13. In the short time that I have been playing softball, I have worked really hard to catch up on the differences between the games and learn new skills- early in my transition from baseball to softball I became a lefty, slapper. One of my biggest achievements so far has been making my high school's varsity softball team and helping them win their program's third 5A State Championship in five years during the 21-22 season. Seeing the positive results of my hard work encourages me to work even harder. My ultimate goal is to become a collegiate student-athlete.
