My name is Waabigwan Wagner. I'm excited to talk with as many of you as possible. Don't worry about my pronouncing my name. Just call my Waaby.
One thing about me is that I try to set a good example. I am Ojibwe. I follow traditional Ojibwe ways. The 7 Grandfather Teachings are Love, Respect, Bravery, Truth, Honesty, Humility and Wisdom. I try to follow those to the best of my ability. I try to set a good example for my teammates and the younger players that look up to us. That is very important to me.
I am a three-time Gold Glove winner for my high school team. I was selected All-Conference for the 2022/2023 season. I am the 2023 Mustangs Teammate of the Year.
I want to play softball at the collegiate level. I want to graduate with a four year degree and make my parents proud. Please give me a chance.
