Personal Statement
My name is Bailey Erickson and I am a hardworking softball player. I'm truly dedicated to this sport. I'm an athlete who knows the game of softball. I have played two years at Millard North, both years on Varsity with a swing to Junior Varsity. An important accomplishment was being chosen to represent the State of Nebraska 2 years in a row in Regional play in hopes of advancing to the Little League World Series. I have been on a Club/Select Travel Softball Team since I was 8 years old.
Knowing that I'm capable of playing softball in college makes me more passionate about this sport. I am a well-rounded softball player with primary positions being Outfield (Center Field) and Infield (shortstop, 2nd base).
I am open-minded about colleges and hope to just find a college that fits me best. It doesn't matter about the size or location; if I can receive a good education and play softball I will be happy.
My realistic athletic goals are to continue playing the sport I love at a high competition level. Another goal of mine is to make an impact on the team and others just starting the sport. Knowing at the end of the day that I made a difference and tried my hardest would keep a smile on my face.
