Ella McNew '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Ella McNew and I am a 5'3 left/center fielder from Omaha, Nebraska. My biggest goal is to play softball at the collegiate level. I attend, and play at Millard West High School and graduate in the class of 2023. Softball has been the focal point of my life for 11 years and I have grown to love the sport. All the people, memories, and the all around experience has shaped me into the person I am today.

In addition to softball, I also value academics and hold myself to an equally high standard in the classroom. I am looking for a college that will help me strive in the classroom, along with the softball field. Business classes have always interested me greatly and that is the field that I would like to major in. I have always been very interested in sports, and I would like to minor in Sports Marketing. I work hard on and off the field, my current GPA is 3.50. My teammates and coaches would describe me as coachable, a team first player, and a competitive spirit.
