Lauren Krystek '18 Recruiting Profile

I play catcher mainly but can play any position except pitcher. I'm considered aggressive and a high spirited player. During my spring high school season became a member or the Varsity Letterman's club for my skills as a softball catcher and the contributions to my team that I was able to provide. I also received player of the week and highest fielding percentage during the high school season. I have received many awards including MVP during the 2014 Queen Of Diamonds and also received player of the game twice during the 2015 summer season at the Berliner tournament as well as many other awards. I've also been given the opportunity from Kirt Whiteside to participate on the 2017 North American Select team in Holland. I will be playing as the catcher and we will leave in early January. My goals in college are to go in as a pre-medical major, with an undergrad in biological sciences or biomedical sciences. Not only am I interested in a well rounded softball program, I am very adamant in finding a school with a great academic program.
