Madey Putman '25 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing softball since I was four year olds, and I have been playing school and travel ball for the past 6-7 years. I am a very hard working athlete, whether it be team practices or on my own. I have taken hitting lessons with Andy Rushing for the past 5 years, and I do fielding drills on my own at least 3 times a week. I am a very consistent base-hit hitter, and I finished my sophomore season with one of the highest batting averages. I am a very aggressive defensive player that can read the ball and base runners exceptionally well. I also have always succeeded academically. I currently hold a 4.41 GPA on a 4 point scale due to honors and dual enrollment classes.
