Personal Statement
I am in the 8th grade at Dan River Middle School. I am a honor roll student and a Beta club member. I play both softball and volleyball however, softball is the sport that I am most passionate about. Aside from team practices I go to a pitching coach and hitting coach weekly. I started pitching about two and a half years ago and recently hit 64 mph. My current pitches are a fastball, change up, rise ball and off speed. I have recently started working on a screw ball. When I am not pitching I am a utility player. I generally play third or first but feel comfortable anywhere on the field. I usually bat in the 3,4, or 5 spot. My goal is to play college softball and I am willing to work hard for it.
