Aloha! I have been around basketball my whole life since my older sister played as well. As I got older, basketball games with clubs/teams became more competitive. I wanted to give up on the sport because I thought it was getting too hard and I wasn't good enough. However, through time I began to create a more competitive mindset which sparked my passion to continue playing. Since I have been playing basketball, I have been able to learn about time management through balancing all practices and training while still keeping up with my school work. Sacrifices, commitment, and perseverance is what I plan to bring to the team along with energy towards fellow teammates. I'm always looking to improve more and learning to try new things/tactics. When having off days where I'm not hitting my shots, I strive to do my best in lifting up my teammates and encouraging them to their best abilities, or playing the best defense I can to compensate for a terrible shooting day. Something that I value when playing with a team is being able to work together, being selfless, and also just being there postively for one another. On a side note, on my "days off", I enjoy going to the beach and shopping at the malls. I also love creating TikTok videos with friends.
