My goals after high school are to hopefully play at the college level while pursuing the education that I need for a career. I have very good sportsmanship towards other teams and my team. I try to build the team up with motivation before tournaments and games. On the ice I am fast and aggressive. I might get a penalty every now and then but as a player I can play with anyone. You put me out there with a player I've never really played with and I'll do great. When it comes to academics I'm focused. I work best independently but I can work with groups. I've always put school first and I intend to do that with college. After college I intend on having a career. School for me is easy sometimes. You focus in class and do the work, then you're done. For me when I get my work done, hockey is something that I earned. I work hard in school then I get to do what I love. I am a multi-sport athlete. Hockey, volleyball, and lacrosse. Some of my teammates say that I'm a leader and I try to be. I always try to be supportive towards the team and coaches. I respect the coaches and I try to help the team play their best. When someone messes up on a play I build them up to shake it off and focus on the next play. The game doesn't stop for you and I've learned that in the past when I first started playing. That when you mess up you have to just keep moving. I started playing hockey at 5 on a 10u team, tier 2 AA level. I fell in love with being on the ice. Whenever I get on the ice, I try to push myself to 110%. I have a very good mindset when it comes to sports. I have tape to tape passes, I skate fast, I'm aggressive and I'm one of the bigger girls on the ice. I'm a good left winger but you can put me at any position and I'll do great. My dream is to play college hockey and to have a great hockey career.
