Personal Statement

Hi Coaches,

I have wanted to play Division I college hockey since I was eleven years old. I watched two Wisconsin games, live near my house, and I was inspired. Ever since that day I have aspired to be that female role model in some little girl's life the same way those girls inspired me. Being from Florida is a little tough for a hockey career,  which is why my family and I decided to make the move to New England so I could play prep school hockey and get a top notch education while also learning how to be independent and gain confidence. I have learned that I want to play competitive collegiate hockey at a school where I am able to thrive as a student athlete, whether that means Division I or Division III or even Division II.

I am extremely involved in my school community and I have learned so many valuable lessons from my peers and the faculty members. If I attend your school you will never have to worry about me getting into trouble or having any academic issues. I am committed to bettering myself each and everyday to become a better student, athlete, and person. I am a multifaceted candidate for your school and team. But most importantly you will not meet another student athlete that is more dedicated and self driven than me.

Respectfully,

Seana Perkins
