Sara Genena '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Sara Genena and I have been playing hockey for four years. Before that I was a figure skater, providing me with a skating advantage most players don't have. On the ice, I help lead my team to wins, motivating my teammates to strive for their best by leading group chants and providing constructive feedback during games. In school, I take honors and AP level courses, maintaining above 90% in all of my classes while also managing sports. Being witness to unjust acts occurring so frequently in democracy has inspired me to study law, and I hope to study Civil Rights Law specifically. I hope that by playing college hockey I will come to learn and appreciate the values of teamwork, respect, and commitment.
