Jodie Welsh '17 Recruiting Profile

  I am pretty late in my recruiting process, it has taken me awhile to decide whether or not being a student athlete was right for me. I am graduating early from my high school which has allowed to excel my academics but it restricted me from a whole year of highschool lacrosse. I am driven and passionate about education and the sport of lacrosse. I have played since I was in 5th grade and I have loved it ever since my first day. I enjoy being a leader although I also love listening to others and taking in different ideas and perspectives. I always try my hardest in everything I do whether it be in the classroom or on the field. Although it has taken me a longer time to decide what path may be right, I am confident in my decision that taking the step to play lacrosse in college is right for me.
