Jacqueline Hess '25 Recruiting Profile

Of all the sports I have attempted, such as swimming and volleyball, I have never felt a sense of belonging and passion as I do with crew. I have improved drastically over the years and I look forward to learning more. I love spending time on the water and with my teammates, as well as having the overall experience of being a rower.

I joined a rowing club in Amsterdam when I was 10, then continued upon moving back to the US with the Nashville Rowing Club (under Cory Sanderson). Currently, I am with my school team, Harpeth Hall.  Because of my time participating in the sport in different places and having a variety of coaches and teammates, I am quite experienced in sculling, sweeping, and different forms of sportsmanship. That being said, there is always room for improvement and I look forward to being part of a strong college team, even if it is at a club level.
