2023 Highlights Personal Statement
I started rowing in 8th grade, and have loved the sport since then. I realized I did not just enjoy the matter of being one with the water on a boat, but working with 8 other girls every day. I am hoping to continue this passion after high school where I can put in the most effort possible with other motivated women. I am hardworking, and always enthusiastic no matter the work I am given both in the boat and on the erg. I am able to balance academics and athletics as I develop a practical routine each season.
