My name is Alexa Rouillard and I will be a junior in high school this year. I am from Coventry CT and play for my high school team, Coventry High School and my club team, CFC North ECNL RL 08. I have been playing soccer ever since I was 18 months old and I have dedicated my time to developing my skills and understanding for the game. I see myself as a very coachable person as I always take advice and feedback, from coaches and peers to help strengthen my game.
While soccer is my main sport I have also played basketball for 9 years, run track for 4 years, danced for 11 year, and I enjoy playing golf with my family and friends. Even though I take part in so many activities I still maintain straight A's in all my classes including AP and honors courses. Teachers have identified me as a leader in the classroom and I also take part in a student focus group held in our school. Teachers identify 2 members of each grade level they believe are strong leaders and this small group of students meets about 4-5 times each year to discuss many aspects of the district.
My goal as a student-athlete is to find a college that can challenge me both academically and athletically. With my leadership qualities, ability to adapt, and my dedication to success I would be a great addition to any college soccer team.
