One of the highlights of my summer baseball season was winning the CT Nutmeg Games tournament and coming in first place. Our team came back from being down 7-1 to win 8-7. The entire team contributed to the win and we never game up. It was definitely an amazing experience. I learned a lot about myself over the course of the season and improved upon my leadership skills and work ethic as a result of facing good competition. It was great to see the team come together over the course of the season and I really enjoyed the camaraderie of my teammates and coaches.
Outside of school I enjoy a variety of activities such as skiing, basketball, swimming, and over the past year I have really enjoyed strength training. I'm fascinated by topics involving math and civics and I also enjoy spending time with my family as I'm very close with them.
I am a Freshman now, but I believe in a couple of years the hard work and dedication that I'm putting in will pay off and position me to be the type of student athlete you will want in your baseball organization!
