Jenna Mahoney '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jenna Mahoney. I am now a senior at Robert D. Edgren High School. I have been living overseas in Misawa, Japan for the past 14 years. I have been the tennis team captain for three years now. I believe that I can bring new experiences to a team because of my culture and my unique background. I strive to make a positive impact on my team and I am always trying to find new ways to improve as a player and teammate. I am a disciplined athlete and always try to hold my teammates at that standard too. The best quality in my game is that I do not have the will to give up even when I am put into tough situations. Within my high school tennis career, I have always found a way to push through matches and stay mentally strong. I have experience being with being resilient on the tennis court and want to inspire others to do the same. I am interested in studying exercise science or kinesiology because of my love for exercising and I want to gain more knowledge on it in college.  Because of tennis, I have grown a passion for health and fitness.
