Cross Country WPI...Personal Statement
My name is Emerson Skatell. I am a junior at Greater Latrobe Senior High School in Latrobe, Pennsylvania. I began running when I was in 6th grade and have loved it since. I started cross country and track in 7th grade. I didn't have a 7th grade track season due to Covid. I enjoy running with my teammates and bonding with them throughout the season. I feel that I am a good leader and always try my best and encourage my teammates to do so as well! I made it to States for cross country my freshman and sophomore years and came in the top half both times. Academically speaking, I have been on the Distinguished honor roll at my school during my high school career and want to pursue a job in the medical field. I will continue to work hard and be the best version of myself in character, athletics and academics.
