Victoria "Tori" Staples '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Victoria "Tori" Staples, I am a 2024 MB from Tucson AZ. My goal in pursuing a collegiate level of play is to push myself to be the best player I know I can be. I am working daily at being the best teammate and player I can be in and out of the gym. I have been on teams where I wasn't the starter but I worked throughout every practice to prove I can be and the following year I came back as the top-performing middle on my team. This is important because I still haven't peaked and am improving daily by having a growth mindset to work toward my goals and aspirations. I am always asking what I can do better to improve my level of play and ultimately play my part. I have been coached by some of the top coaches in my city so I know how to take criticism and use it to be an adaptive player. I led my team by being the 5A Southern Division leader in getting the 2nd most blocks in the 5A Southern division in Arizona, I had a total of 48 blocks (0.6 B/S). I was ranked as the 4th highest player in the 5A Southern Division with a 0.178 PCT which is about 1.2 K/S. At the end of the 2022 season, I was placed on the all-region 2nd team and earned 4 players of the match according to AZ Max Preps.
