I’m Chloe Wang, and I am a sophomore at Canyon Crest Academy. I first picked up volleyball when I was 9 years old when I saw my parents playing with their friends for fun. After many years of club and school volleyball, my passion for the sport has only grown. I am a very coachable and driven player, and I constantly strive to improve.
Although I am not in a typical outside hitter size, I play aggressively and smart and move the ball around the court swinging balls around, over and off the block, to be successful at scoring points. I am also very confident at the serve receiving and defense line and pass lot of nicely settable balls.
Academically, the high school I attend, Canyon Crest Academy, is one of the top 3 academic public schools in California, known for its tough schedule and challenging courses. After playing on the junior varsity team during my freshman year and varsity this year, I have learned to balance my academics with volleyball very well. I am confident that I will be a good fit for the high academic school team that needs an all-around OH or DS.
