Hello, my name is Avery Brooks, I am a junior at Lyman Memorial High School in Connecticut. I've played volleyball there for three seasons. My freshman year I played JV, but then my sophomore and junior year I played varsity. I've always been interested in going to college and playing volleyball. When it comes to volleyball and anything I do, I try to do my best at it and if I don't do my best I make sure to do it the next day. I'm a straight A student and take numerous AP and college credit classes. My goal in college is to play and have fun doing so, trying to be the best athlete I can be and also to expand my education to make a living for myself.

- AwardsMy freshman year I got awarded the E. Fenn Norse award. Also my sophomore year I helped coaching the middleschool volleyball program. I am always on Honor Roll. Junior year I got invited to join the National Honor Society.
- ActivitiesI am a board member at the Lebanon Historical Society as their youth leader. I have 60 hours of volunteer time. I am an officer for my class of 2024. I babysat for the Elementary School during PTA meetings. I also work at an after-school daycare program for 2.5 hours 3 days a week.
