Marie Rodrigues '18 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing volleyball since I was 8 years old. I know that playing in college is a once in a lifetime opportunity that could change my whole life.

I have quick movement on the court and a strong in serve, set, and in defense. I am a team leader and try to lead. I am very coachable and strive to be one of the hardest working player for obtain my dream. My main positions is setter, libero, and DS, but I have played almost every position on the court successfully.

My freshman year, I was honored to have been named varsity team captain and, and was the first setter in the team. This senior year, I was team captain, first setter and libero, leading our team go to Districts. For club, I have been a setter, right side hitter, an outside hitter, a DS, and libero. This past club season,i was setter and libero. While my passion is volleyball. One of my goals is to play volleyball in college. I know that my versatility, dedication and integrity as a player will help me to be an asset to my team.

In the classroom, I study hard and maintain a high GPA (3.4). I also volunteer in my school, i have around 659 communtity hours in my high school year

I want to attend college where I can push myself in the classroom and on the court. I am open to all options and want to finally find the right college for me. I hope to become a great role model to all my friends and make my parents proud.
