Carington Campbell '21 Recruiting Profile

As a child, education has always been pushed in my household. Both of my parents are college graduates and participated in sports at the college level.  They are both principals in the Broward County School system in Florida.  My goals in life are to graduate from college and to pursue a professional basketball career and in communication/ broad casting.  I think that I will be a great recruit for any college because I work hard on my academics and any sport that I play or participate in.  I have been participating on basketball teams since I was five years old.  Currently, I attend Florida Memorial University and started at the point-guard position. I am considered to be an undersized guard but that has never kept me from being successful on the high school varsity basketball team since 10th grade and on all College Prep and AAU travel teams.  What makes me a great candidate for any team is that I am a team player, hard worker, dedicated, and I believe that to beat the best, you have to be your best. I am committed to playing for a division I,II, and III college team that believes in their athletes and promoting a well rounded academic/athletic program.  My character is based on that of a Christian faith, respect, and honor. Any university that invests in me can expect a young man that strives for excellence both on and off the court! I am open to all locations and want to ultimately find the right college fit that will provide an opportunity to achieve my goals. Thank you.
