Personal Statement
Competing is something that means a lot to me. I did martial arts for 10 years and a saying I was taught was “To compete is to Win”. I stopped doing martial arts because I found a passion for playing volleyball. On my high school team the younger girls would tell me how they looked up to me when It came to being on the court. When I make mistakes I usually recognize how to fix them and when I don’t recognize it I will ask about it.
